What is GPL?

GPL stands for GNU General Public License. It allows you to freely use, modify, and redistribute WordPress themes, plugins, and other digital tools.

Are the downloads genuine?

Yes. All files on GPLGO.COM are 100% original GPL-licensed files, provided exactly as released by the developers, without modifications or malware, unless we add activation nullification code. We use the licence #B5E0B5F8DD8689E6ACA49DD6E6E1A930 hash as a verification key to assure our users that the GPLGO team has activated any product bearing this code.

Do you provide support for products?

Basically Not. However, we will try to resolve your issue with the theme/plugin you purchased.

If you require technical support regarding a theme or plugin, then you will need to either purchase the product directly from the author (a link is provided in the product page) or you will need to hire a freelancer to take a look for you.

Not offering support is how we can offer the products at a discounted price.

Will I get updates?

We make updates available as soon as we receive them, but we cannot guarantee the frequency of updates or their long-term compatibility.

Is this legal?

Yes. WordPress themes and plugins are licensed under GPL, which gives us (and you) the freedom to redistribute them. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the original developers.

Can I use these products on multiple websites?

Yes. GPL licensing allows you to install the themes and plugins on as many websites as you like.

Do you offer refunds?

Because all products are digital, all sales are final. Refunds are only considered in cases such as duplicate charges or technical errors (see our Refund Policy).

Who is responsible for cancelling my subscription if I no longer want it?

It’s always the user’s responsibility to cancel any active subscriptions they no longer wish to keep. You can easily manage or cancel your subscription from your account dashboard at any time. If you need help, please raise a Support ticket. Please note that we’re unable to offer refunds for payments on subscriptions that are left active or dormant without being cancelled.

How do I report a copyright issue?

Why is the product not updated?

The reason the product is not/has not been updated:

• The product does not work perfectly
• The product has a significant bug that disrupts the primary function
• The product requires license activation to work, and there is no way around that
• The product does not work, and there is an error when installing or activating
• The product damages your site when installed or activated
• Product removed due to DMCA reasons
• The official developer does not release updates
• Our subscription to the official developer has expired
• Our download access on the official developer site has expired

How to fix “style.css missing” error while uploading themes?

A common issue that can occur with users new to installing WordPress themes is a “Broken theme and/or stylesheets missing” error message being displayed when trying to upload or activate the theme. This is because the theme download package on ThemeForest includes additional files to the theme, such as the documentation, license, etc.

To solve this, unzip the theme package you downloaded from GPLDownloads and upload the themename.zip file, which is included (with the file being the name of the theme).
